My youngest daughter Sage celebrated her 5th trip around the sun with a "wild child teepee party."
And invited a few wild girls & boys over to play.
There was hula hooping...
... treasure hunting...
...mud pie baking and music making.
We made simple feather headbands and armbands.
And had fun stringing wooden beads and buttons.
Teepee cupcakes and maple layer cake rounded out the menu of chicken bites, corn on the cob, cinnamon applesauce and wheat rolls, enjoyed picnic style.
A whole lot of old-fashioned birthday fun, enjoyed by all!

What a "perfect" birthday party and so beautifully recorded!
What a cool party! I wish my children had their Birthdays in warmer months.
