Today was one of those days where nothing had to get done and I didn't have to be anywhere. I could, relatively speaking, take the day off. I am grateful for a slow, quiet day - they few and far between - where I could savor my morning coffee, gaze out at the water, snuggle Sage, and make art with Selby. Little gaps like this allow me to clear my mind and steady myself for more busy days ahead. Sigh.
