It's been raining and raining here, the perfect opportunity for a little dress-up play.
My little chicks were entertained for more than an hour today with a mirror...
...some sparkly shoes...
...and a fully-stocked dress-up trunk!
I found this gorgeous, vintage cane trunk at a yard sale a few months back and knew it was perfect for holding my girls' ever-growing dress-up wardrobe.
Inside you'll now find scarves, boas, play silks, purses, skirts, dresses, many hats, Halloween costumes (these are a favorite here year round)...
...tacky discount-store dress-up clothes, Goodwill treasures, hand-me-downs from my own closet, gloves, slippers, high heels, crowns, magic wands and oh-so-much more. And of course, there's the jewelery box...
...full of sparkling, beaded delights. What more could a girl want?

My girl has suddenly become interested in dress up, too. She keeps asking me to put The Boy's astronaut costume on her. She has about three years to go until it fits her!
I think I'll be buying some sparkly fabric on my next trip to the fabric store!
