I've mentioned it here before (a few times), that we enjoy breakfast for dinner every Wednesday in my nest. Yup, once a week we pile up our dinner plates with breakfast favorites... eggs, bacon, pancakes with maple syrup, frittatas, biscuits, and so on. We eat this meal together on trays in front of the TV (something reserved only for breakfast night, and sometimes movie night). Recently, we've been watching
Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, but House Hunters International as well as cooking, travel, and animal shows are also enjoyed by all - children's programming is avoided for these meals.
Anyhow, I recently had an opportunity to share a few of my favorite seasonal breakfast-for-dinner recipes in
Edible Sarasota magazine: a
Lemon-Blueberry Dutch Baby Pancake,
Zucchini-Potato Hash with Sunny Side Up Eggs, and
Maple-Herb Turkey Sausage.
