7 :: Organic Produce

Every Friday, I pick up a basket of seasonal organic produce from a local organic fruits & vegetables distributor. I never know what I will receive, so it's always a fun surprise to see what's in my weekly lot. Today, I garnered beautiful Lacinato kale so dark green it is almost blue; bi-color sweet corn; Florida navel oranges, Pink Lady apples, white onions, zucchini and green beans. I am grateful for my weekly organic vegetable basket - which brings me such joy - and all the beautiful produce of the season. Happy Friday!
