November kicks off the really great beach-going weather here in southwest Florida. The sand is cool, the sun shines bright but not too hot, and a crisp breeze comes in off the Gulf. Today, we packed up sandwiches & fruit and took the 10 minute drive to our sandy paradise for a picnic with extended family. What a perfect day!
Here at the beach, I feel at home. I am grateful for the salty sea air, the sand crunching under my feet, the sound of the waves crashing into the shore.
